A County Times reader kindly donated this photograph, taken in the 1980s.
It shows a view down what was then Park Street.
All the buildings which are visble were swept away in Horsham town centre redevelopment during the 1980s.
In the foreground is the St John Ambulance Horsham Division headquarters, with garage doors allowing access for the ambulances.
To the left of the photograph is another now long-gone landmark.
The Bell Inn was a large and popular pub which proudly stood in Park Street.
