The Christmas Festival at St Mary’s Church, Storrington, runs from November 30 toDecember 9.
Vivien Stuart, parish secretary, promised a festival with tableaux depicting favourite Christmas carols and songs including a full-size nativity scene, the Three Kings and Good King Wenceslas.
“The herald angels will be shown flying from the Church pillars and Frosty the Snowman will be seen with his friend Rudolf, the red-nosed reindeer.
“A variety of Christmas gift stalls will be in Church on November 30 and December 1 (10am–6pm) and the displays will continue to be on show during the afternoons of the following week. At various times choirs from local schools will be singing, the church handbell ringers will perform and visiting organists will play. Sandgate Singers’ concert is in Church on Saturday, December 8, at 7.30pm. Light refreshments will be available throughout. Visit www.storringtonparishchurch.org.uk
