Fish and chip treat in Billingshurst for just 99p

A Billingshurst chippy will be offering a cut-price deal on fish and chips on Saturday May 17, to celebrate Norway Day.

The Norwegian Seafood Council has teamed up with Jack Fullers to offer 99p portions of cod and chips, while stocks last.

The Norwegian Seafood Council is working in partnership with 99 fryers across the UK to offer fish and chip fans the chance to hark back to the golden era of fish and chips and purchase a portion of their favourite takeaway for just 99p.

A total of 16 tonnes of cod has been gifted to the 99 shops as part of the initiative.

Jack Fullers is one of 19 taking part in the south east.

Nearly 40,000 people nationwide are expected to join this celebration of cod and chips.

David Fuller from Jack Fullers said: “We are so pleased to be taking part in this annual celebration.

“Fish and chips are a firm favourite in Billinghurst, I know that our customers will enjoy the delicious Norwegian cod and chips on offer - and they will certainly enjoy the prices too!”
