Born Free CEO to speak at Horsham tearoom tonight

The CEO of wildlife charity the Born Free Foundation is hosting a talk at Horsham tea and cake shop Pretty Things tonight (Thursday August 8).

Will Travers will also invite guests to participate in a question and answer session, which will follow the inspirational talk at the tearoom in Park Place, Horsham town centre.

Born Free is an international wildlife charity devoted to protecting hundreds of thousands of animals worldwide every year.

The charity’s headquarters are located in Foundry Lane, Horsham.

Mr Travers is the son of British actors Bill Travers and Virginia McKenna, who co-starred in the 1966 film ‘Born Free’ before establishing the charity in 1991.

Tickets are £18, which includes tea and cake, with proceeds going towards the Born Free Foundation.
