By now it seems that the Covid-19 Pandemic may never end.

Just as things have begun to re-open, the numbers seem to begin to rise again leaving us all worried that lockdown might be re-introduced at any time.

If you are getting tired of spending your days binge-watching television, then you might be interested in some alternative options for spending your time.

Teach yourself a new skill

Luckily, this pandemic is occurring during a time when you can teach yourself virtually anything using videos that are posted online. If you are looking for a way to spend your time while remaining productive, then there are a seemingly endless number of skills you might learn online. You could learn how to cook, sew, or even begin to build some karate skills if you would like. Your options are seemingly endless.

Write something

Most of us have some kind of story that is sitting inside of our minds waiting to be written. Whether that story is a true story from your life, or a fictional story that is begging to be told, there is no better time than the present. You’ll never know if you can become a published author until you try.

Writing is also therapeutic, so it can be really great for your mental health during this trying time.

Declutter your home

Whether you realise or not, the clutter that is lurking in your storage areas is causing you a significant amount of stress. Take this time to sort out all of the rubbish that is hiding behind doors and underneath your beds. You might be surprised by how refreshed you feel after you have finished.

You can even donate your unwanted items to a charity. Donating items or money is actually a great way to improve your morale as well. The Tej Kohli Foundation, is built by Tej Kohli himself is a great example of how making small donations of money and time can truly change your life and the lives of others.

Plan a holiday

While you are not likely able to travel right now, this is a great time to begin to plan your next vacation. Although the future is uncertain, learning to look forward to what is to come is a great way to build your morale. Planning your next trip will give you something to look forward to that is not within the walls of your home.

We are all struggling to cope with the ramifications of the Covid 19 pandemic that never seems to come to an end. While it is incredibly difficult both mentally and physically to remain stuck inside your home, you have to be responsible for taking control of your own mental health. Binge watching television is not bad in and of itself, but binge watching television for months on end is simply not good for you in any sense of the word.
