Iriness Yoga and Wellbeing is the brainchild of husband and wife team Patrick and Irina Pashkevich Bourdier.

Irina, joint founder, said: “It has been such a joy and privilege during this first year of Iriness, to share yoga practices with the residents of the Horsham area. I discovered yoga more than 20 years ago and it transformed my perspective on life, my mental state, my physique.”

Ashtanga Vinyasa is a thousands of years old therapeutic yoga practice, which focuses on the synchronicity of mental focus, breathing and movement.

Alongside the daily Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga classes, Iriness’ offers weekly yoga classes for teenagers and restorative yoga for people of all abilities. In addition to the daily educational yoga programmes, Iriness holds well established yoga courses for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, and regularly hosts workshops, presented by internationally renowned yoga teachers.

Iriness has highly experienced therapists. Uschi Martin offers cognitive hypnotherapy and Gemma Fisk is a family and couples psychotherapist. More wellbeing therapies are being added to the studio.

Irina added: “Now I work with students aged from nine to 80 with various abilities and goals; all coming and practising together in our studio, in the search of inner mental peace and development of strong and mobile bodies.

“We hear so many heart-warming stories, how practising yoga on a regular basis helps various physical and mental conditions and makes students more centred, focused and content.

“I have dreamt of hosting a space of yogic peace and wellbeing for years and now, with the help of my husband and the support from our students, I can live my dream. “We are always happy to welcome new students to Iriness and help them find their own way to a healthier and happier living.”
