In writing to the school on Friday (January 24), Yeovil MP David Laws commended the school for ‘showing sustained improvement in the percentage of pupils achieving five or more A*-C grade GCSEs, including English and maths’ from 2011 to 2013.

The letter highlighted that the results ‘are a shining testament to the hard work and success of your staff, governors and pupils’, and Mr Laws thanked all at the school for their ‘pursuit of the highest standards of educational achievement’.
