Ashurst CE Primary School open day

AN OPEN day is to be held this Saturday (October 15) at Ashurst CE Aided Primary School, School Lane, Steyning.

The event, which will celebrate the National Society of Schools’ 200 year anniversary, will take place from 10am to 3.30pm.

Former pupils, families, staff and villagers are all invited.

Current pupils will be enjoying their own open afternoon on Monday October 17 to celebrate the same anniversary.

Home made refreshments will be served on both days.

The school opened in 1873 and now has 60 pupils on roll.
