The allotment grabbed Rudridge’s attention due to their desire to encourage the community to get involved with growing in a fun and sociable way. Rudridge plans to help provide sand and materials to make the site fully accessible for all, including those in wheechairs.

At the school the company will build a new ramp so a pupil with cerebral palsy can easily access the school building without making a detour to the infant school end of the school.

Darren Price, business development manager for Rudridge said: “We hope that the projects we have chosen, once complete, will really make a difference to the Horsham community.”
