Brooks Life Sciences has utilised a £2 million investment to expand and boost its offering during a time when there has been a global effort to develop Covid-19 vaccines.

The recent expansion has seen the company invest in new machines, tools and ancillary equipment across the Wotton site, whilst signing a new lease agreement to secure the current site and additional buildings for a further ten years.

The business has shown rapid growth over the last few years, doubling production output since 2017, with 26.1 million parts being produced in 2020, forecast to increase to 35 million in 2021 due to the rapidly increasing demand since the global pandemic.

The team has also increased by 65 per cent, with Brooks now providing 116 jobs across the local area and the region.

As the demands increase Brooks is planning for the future and looking to recruit around 30 new team members at their Wotton site including positions across the business in production, quality, warehouse, product management, logistics, and inventory.
