Horsham conveyancing firm is bucking the home working trend and bringing their team together in a new office

Amanda Shaw Solicitors was set up by in 2007 and until now, has been based in offices located in Amanda’s home.

Now with the business continuing to grow, the company has gone against the current trend for more home working, and decided that the time was right for a more distinct separation between home and business.

Amanda said: “As much as working from home has been wonderful, it was time for our next big step. Our team has now grown to seven dedicated conveyancing professionals. It was time for us all to move into a larger office space. We needed more room to continue our growth; and it was actually really exciting for us to be moving ourselves this time, having helped so many others to move.”

She added: “I have been asked ‘why get an office now?’ especially when so many are now working from home. And it’s because we see so many benefits from working together. All being in the same office means we can help and support each other as part of a seamless conveyancing team. We enjoy working together and although we considered working from our own homes, we knew it would hamper our efficiency and teamwork. I must admit, we all love our new office location. It’s easy for clients to get to, keeps us in the heart of the community and is an amazing rural location that just makes you smile as you come into work.”

After an extensive search for a suitable space in the local area, Amanda was delighted to find the perfect office in one of the converted farm buildings at Pondtail Farm, on the beautiful Knepp Castle Estate. With ample room for future expansion, the building is surrounded by stunning scenery, and the team has very quickly settled into their new home.
