The milk and dairy production and distribution company said customers would be ‘unaffected’ by the sale of the Brighton Road site.

A spokesperson for Dairy Crest said: “Following a review of our options, a buyer has been found for the site we currently operate in Horsham. It has been agreed with the buyer, that our operations will remain onsite until a new location can be found.

“We remain committed to providing an excellent doorstep delivery service to our customers in the Horsham area. Following the sale the service to our customers will remain unaffected.”

It is unknown whether the company is searching for new locations within the Horsham district.

The company has owned a site in Brighton Road for decades prior to the sale.

In November, the County Times reported that Dairy Crest were ‘reviewing their options’ concerning the future of the depot.
