Horsham firm is named business of the year

Assurity Consulting, the UK’s leading independent consultancy specialising in workplace health, safety and environmental solutions, won the Gatwick Diamond Business Award (GDBA) for Business of the Year (over £1m turnover).

This year the awards ceremony was switched to a ‘roaring 20s’ themed online event and members of the Assurity Consulting team dressed up to the nines to watch and participate from home, a spokesman for the firm said. The GDBA’s platform allowed the finalists and their guests to celebrate and network together online.

Ian Woodland, Director of Business Services, Assurity Consulting said: “We are really proud to receive the award for Business of the Year (over £1m turnover).

“Our employees collaborate brilliantly to achieve success together, and we are delighted to get recognition for that from the GDBA judges.

“We want our employees to feel they are making a difference while carrying out their roles and we also want them to enjoy their work as well. This award recognises our efforts and provides confirmation that we are the best business in the Gatwick Diamond region in 2020!”

Assurity Consulting ensure they support employees and clients wherever they can, he added.

The spokesman said: “Employees are recognised for performance regularly as well as supported to access training courses, they ensure regular communication with clients by email and holding events.

“As well as their continuous support to employees and clients they ensure they are actively supporting the community and various charities.

“Assurity Consulting performed exceptionally in this competition and we can only encourage them to carry on with the amazing work they do, they scored well across all sections and there really is not one thing we could suggest they need to improve.”

This is the fifth Gatwick Diamond Business Award that Assurity Consulting have won, the firm said.

A spokesman added: “They look forward to entering again and getting back to the in-person event next year!”
