Ashington woman urges people to ditch wet wipes in favour of her ‘cheeky spray’

An Ashington woman is calling on people to use her ‘cheeky spray’ instead of wet wipes after going to the toilet.

Suzanne Fenn has launched her new company, Cheeky Spray, after losing her job in the insurance sector in April 2020.

She said: “It’s doing well so far – people are taking an interest in it.”

Her product – a cleaning spray designed to be sprayed onto toilet roll – is a more eco friendly alternative to wet wipes, she said.

Suzanne added: “Cheeky Spray dampens the surface of the toilet tissue without saturating or breaking down the cleaning surface.

“The soothing and cleansing properties of the tested and certified product contents still allows one to clean oneself and feel fresh and hygienic.

​“The toilet tissue can then be dropped it into the toilet bowl to be flushed in the normal way. Because it is just used toilet paper it will disintegrate when flushed and not cause blockages in pipes and sewers.

“You can leave the toilet with a clean bum and a clean conscience.”

All ingredients are ethically sourced, cruelty free and suitable for vegans, she said.
