Vintage bridal fair first of new Horsham events

Horsham has already become a real hit with food lovers around Sussex and is now becoming a ‘must visit’ for anyone with a passion for vintage and retro. With some exciting vintage events happening in the Town Centre, there’s also the return of the very popular French Market on Sunday 2nd June combined with a Vintage Fayre.

Horsham’s history for fairs and markets goes right back to the 13th Century and, with the Town Centre retaining much of its Medieval architecture, this pretty market town is a wonderful venue with plenty of public spaces to host different markets, exhibitions and entertainment. Vintage is the growing scene in Horsham, helped by a surge of lovely retro Tea Rooms such as Pretty Things, Artisan and Rosie Lee & Me.

These popular destinations and some fabulous independent shops have led to three exciting new events this summer. The first, Belle’s Bridal Bazaar on Saturday May 4 takes place in the very retro Barn in the Causeway, followed by Belle’s Vintage and Retro Fair in the Art Deco Drill Hall, Denne Road on Sunday May 26. Just a week later, the Carfax hosts the large France at Home market on Sunday June 2 combined with some very special vintage additions including stalls and entertainment to suit.
