VIDEO: Trio take the plunge

A woman from Barns Green and two work colleagues are preparing to literally take the plunge to raise money for a hospital which helped save her life.

Lin Gilbert, Adam Lea from Horsham and Matt Whillock from Slinfold are all taking part in the Cold Water Swimming Championships at Tooting Bec Lido on January 26.

The trio will brave icy temperatures as low as 3 degrees Celsius to raise money for St Mark’s Hospital in Harrow, where Crohn’s Disease sufferer Lin had a life-saving operation back in 2009.
