Horsham Dollhouse Club and local residents have kindly offered their large collections of small things for display in the museum on School Lane.

The exhibit launched on Saturday October 5 is appropriately named ‘It’s a Small World’ and features the amazing talent of the club members.

From a vintage butcher’s shop filled with meats, to a beautifully designed gypsy caravan, people can view the intricate detail up close and see that these unique creations are no ordinary toys.

One highlight is an elaborate display depicting BBC’s ‘Bargain Hunt’ with tables of small antiques, browsing buyers and a film crew - not forgetting a mini Tim Wonnacott presenting the show.

Check out the teeny Hallowe’en shop with frightening goodies, a book of ‘Oliver Twist’ that opens up to reveal Fagin admiring his jewellery, and swing by the tiny bakery with little loaves on display.

The exhibition is now on until December 18. Storrington & District Museum is open every Wednesday and Saturday, 10am to 4pm and Sunday, 10am to 1pm.

Located at The Old School, School Lane, RH20 4LL. For more details call 01903 740188 or email [email protected].
