A twisted puppet-based sitcom full of colourful characters and surprises

The original Puppet Master returns with a brand new UK tour this year.

Paul Zerdin, who has sold out three shows at Edinburgh, brings his hilarious ventriloquist antics to The Capitol, Horsham, on Saturday, September 6 (at 7.30pm).

Where else can you see a potty-mouthed tweenager, a gangsta rap-loving octogenarian and real-life human beings bent to the whim of a mischievous puppeteer and served up as trashy talk show fodder?

Paul has racked up more than three million hits on YouTube, three sell-out Edinburgh festival shows, numerous appearances on the Royal Variety Performance, and lashings of critical acclaim.

Paul continues his quest to push the boundaries of puppetry.

Serving up a show chock-full of colourful characters, shocks and surprises, side-splitting skits and some seriously naughty humour, Paul may have his hand in some cute and cuddly creations, but it might be best to leave the kids indoors for this one.

This stuffed and sassy stage show sees Zerdin at the centre of a twisted, puppet-based sitcom.

Sprightly old timer Albert is raising hell as ever and ruining Paul’s love life with his hard of hearing ways, but is faithful sidekick and gobby pre-pubescent Sam looking to step out of his master’s shadow and branch out on his own?

Britain’s Got Talent have come calling and Sam wants a solo bite of the showbiz apple. And then of course Baby is up to his usual antics.

Happy to sit back and witness the madness unfold? Think again! Observe with debauched glee as unwitting audience members are converted from eager spectators into helpless pawns before your very eyes.

A human puppet marriage counselling session has to be seen to be believed.

Recent years have also seen Paul’s solo shows Sponge Fest, Puppet Master and No Strings play to sell-out audiences both at the Edinburgh Festival and around the country.

Paul also headlined Variety Live at The Palladium with performers from Cirque du Soleil and cemented himself as an international favourite when the show moved to Las Vegas.
