State circus and the 12 chairs

A Mammoth cast of Russia’s greatest and most talented circus artists, perform breathtaking acts combining contemporary and classical circus in a way that’s never been seen before.

The newly devised show includes the beautiful queen of Russian Circus, Yana Alievia on a revolving aerial Chandelier, the Whirlwind Rubsovs troupe who acrobatically catapult themselves at breakneck speed, The Alikanov and the high flying bouncing bamboo bravados of The Perushkins.

Set Soviet Russia in 1927, a former member of nobility reveals on her deathbed that her family jewellery had been hidden from the Bolsheviks in one of the twelve chairs from the family’s dining room set.

Those chairs have been taken by the government after the Russian Revolution.

The two ‘comrades’ played by clowns Valerik and Valik, become a treasure hunter’s, and they and the Bolsheviks try to track down the chairs.

They are not alone in this quest, and through the process of elimination, the two finally discover the location of the 12th and last chair, but will this chair contain the treasure?

Follow the buffoons in their quest for fame and fortune as they discover if their fate lay in the stars or in a fool’s paradise.
