Colour was injected into our high street as businesses competed to come up with the quirkiest window display to lure people into their shop in the lead up to Christmas 2013.

The event took place at Bill’s Restaurant in the Old Town Hall on Thursday February 27.

Gill Buchanan, chair of Horsham Unlimited, and Nigel Fitzsimmons, Horsham District Council’s town centres officer, congratulated all those who took part.

The event was launched by Horsham Unlimited -
the town centre business partnership - focuses on
promoting the town and runs window-dressing
training sessions for retailers.

The aim is to reward the retail premises that made the most effort to encourage visitors to the town over Christmas using festive decorations, excellent customer service, and partnership working with the local authority and the wider business community.

Aside from the awards, the evening provided
an opportunity for retailers to come together,
network and share best practice.
