Rock singer-songwriter performs

Classic rock singer-songwriter Jim Stapley is heading for a date at The Latest Bar, 14-17 Manchester Street, Brighton on Wednesday, November 2 at 8pm.

Spokeswoman Maxine Soars said: “As well as performing with his own band, he is also vocalist of choice for The Jones Gang, led by legendary Who, Small Faces and Faces drummer Kenney Jones. A recent performance with Kenney saw Jim being joined on stage by Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood. He is playing a Brighton co-headline gig with Ben Poole, a young gifted blues guitarist. Both lads live in Brighton area.

“Jim Stapley is a 25-year-old master of soulful, blues-rock who has already worked with Kiefer Sutherland and Jude Cole’s Ironworks label in the USA. Jim supported the notable US rock band Lifehouse on their 2011 tour, winning over a 4,000 sell-out audience at Camden’s Roundhouse in February and he is currently building a loyal following in his own right thanks to a combination of well-crafted original songs, the stunning quality of his voice and with his high-energy live shows.”
