Moscow City Ballet at The Hawth

Swan Lake follows the fate of Prince Siegfried as he falls in love with the beautiful Swan Queen, Odette. This magical ballet is performed in all its original splendour and features lavish sets, dazzling costumes and stunning choreography. Featuring some of the world’s finest dancers the ballet is performed beautifully to Tchaikovsky’s familiar score played live by Moscow City Ballet Orchestra.

The enchanting and romantic story of The Sleeping Beauty inspired Tchaikovsky to write some of his most glorious music, and the ballet has captivated the imaginations of people for well over a hundred years. Featuring the delicate Princess Aurora, her gallant Prince, the beautiful Lilac Fairy and a host of fairy-tale characters this is a truly magical production.

Moscow City Ballet is renowned for its dazzling repertoire of full scale ballet classics. Russian ‘big story’ ballet combines artistry, technique, narrative and live music for the absolute theatrical dancing experience.
