For the very first time, Horsham District Council is delighted to announce that the British Herpetological Society education committee is bringing its enormously popular ‘Meet the Reptiles’ roadshow to Chesworth Farm in Chesworth Lane, Horsham (RH13 0AA).

Visitors can meet ‘Cheeky’ and his friend ‘Walid’, the Black and White Tegu, on Sunday May 12 at Chesworth Farm Studio, just outside Horsham town centre off Queensway.

Cheeky and Walid will be visiting Horsham with a host of other reptile celebrities from 12noon to 3pm.

Visitors will be invited to meet and handle the amazing snakes, lizards and tortoises.

The reptiles are all very friendly so come along and hold them in this exciting and interactive hands-on event. It’s not to be missed!

Councillor Helena Croft, Horsham District Council’s Cabinet Member for communications, Horsham town and special projects (Con, Roffey North) said: “This is a unique event for the Horsham District’s parks and countryside sites – we haven’t had something quite like it before!
