Joni back at folk club

Joni Fuller is wrapping up a busy and successful 2011 with another appearance in Arundel, this time a guest appearance at a live music night at The Eagle, Tarrant Street, on Friday, December 30 at 8pm.

She returns to Arundel after two sell-out appearances in the town in 2011, including a headline appearance during the Arundel Festival in August.

During the year, she has taken her high-energy instrument swapping performances to venues ranging from Ronnie Scott’s in London, Mo-Fest in Scotland and to 10,000 people during the firework finale of Athletissima 2011 at the Olympic Stadium in Lausanne, Switzerland.

2012 is looking to be a big year for the 20-year-old singer/songwriter and rock violinist.

Joni is currently in the studio with engineer/producer, Stuart Epps (Elton John, Jimmy Page, Robbie Williams, Oasis).

“We have been doing a lot of gigs during the year,” says St Annes-based Joni whose grandparents live in Arundel.

“We have been playing in London especially.”

Joni brought out an EP a couple of years ago which she recorded at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts: “It was great to get some tracks down, and I am thinking about doing some more recordings.”
