Gee it’s a gang show

The gang show, which has been running for over 40 years, will feature a mix of music, dance and comedy featuring the energy and commitment of more than 80 talented young individuals, with the aim of giving scouts and guides the opportunity to develop their performance skills and perform in a professional theatrical environment.

Jennifer Hanraads, relationships officer at the home, said: “Organisers of the gang show have chosen the Queen Alexandra Hospital Home as their charity partner for 2011 and are organizing a number themed around Heroes followed by a bucket collection with all proceeds going directly towards the care and rehabilitation of disabled ex-service personnel at the Worthing-based Hospital Home.

“QAHH is extremely pleased to have been chosen as the beneficiary of Worthing Gang Show 2011 and would like to thank everyone involved for this fantastic opportunity to raise awareness and vital funds for ex-servicemen and women with physical and/or neurological disabilities. Only with the support of the local community can QAHH provide nursing care and rehabilitation services to enable our residents to live as active, independent and fulfilled lives as possible in a caring environment they can think of as home.”

There will be performances at 7.30pm each evening from April 13-16 as well as matinee performances on Wednesday 13 and Saturday 16 at 2.30pm.
