Two cricket journalists and friends, Sam Collins and Jarrod Kimber, teamed up with Aussie opener Ed Cowans to exame what it’s like to make your debut in a Test match.

But while doing so they began to ask why Test cricket was becoming the poor man’s version of the sport and why the shorter game was getting so much backing.

Over the course of a couple of years they interviewed just about all the most influential men in the game, uncovering some unsettling conclusions about money and power.

The documentary follows them around the world as they tried to dig out the truth, encountering people who ultimately control the game’s future.

Cricket fans will be disappointed at many of the facts that emerge but cynics may well agree with one of the game’s top men behind the scenes who says that people want to read about the teams, not the about the governance of the game.

However, this is a compelling story told with passion by two men who live and breath the game.
