FRIDAY

TEA Dance: Join your hosts Margaret and Colin and dance the afternoon away to recorded Ballroom and Latin American music, “Strictly Come Dancing” style at the Southwater Leisure Centre, Pevensey Road, Southwater (off Cedar Drive), July 22, 1.30-3.45pm. WALK: July 22: All welcome, just turn-up at Barns Green (Village Sign near club) at 11am. Easy, mostly flat circular, guided, free sociable HDC Walk around the outskirts of the village. 2 miles, 1 hour. Peter 01403 741305.

SUNDAY

CATS Protection is holding a Cat Homing show and Fundraising Sale, July 24, 11am-3pm in the Horticultural Society Hall, Ifield Ave, Crawley, RH11 7AJ. This will be an opportunity for the public to meet the cats looking for new homes. Also fundraising stalls with many gift ideas, greeting cards, soft toys and collectables to buy. Also cat carriers, scratching posts and other accessories available. There will be refreshments available. Entry is free, but a donation of cat food greatly appreciated.

MONDAY

WALK: July 25: All welcome, free, just turn-up at 10am at The Bull Inn pub car park (TQ 210181) on A281, Mockbridge, Shermanbury for a circular, fairly flat (some stiles), sociable HDC Health Walk heading south west along the banks of the River Adur and a small part of the Downs Link. May be muddy in places. Refreshments after at The Bull Inn (known for its pizzas) No dogs. 5½ miles, 2½ hours. Mike P 01403 242564.

TUESDAY

NEW Runners Club for the Disabled: John Cook, Blue Badge Guise, presents his summer medly of music, songs and tales, July 26, in the Unitarian Church Room, Worthing Road, Horsham, 10.30am-12.30pm. 01403 265616.

WALK: July 26: All welcome, 4½ mile circular HDC Health walk on woodland track past highest point in the South East on to Coldharbour. Panoramic views.
