PORCELAIN figures with the elegant poses, costumes and colours of 18th century fashion are the subject of Ann Haworth’s lecture ‘Music, Dance and the Theatre of Porcelain Figures’, July 11, at the Steyning Centre. Hosts to this lecture are the Steyning Decorative and Fine Arts Society who welcome visitors (for a donation of £5). At the meeting there is a desk for signing up for the society’s visits and this month there will be a list (requiring a deposit) for the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition at the National Gallery on Thursday November 17.
