Cinema fans go USA-style with an open-air showing in a Mid Sussex village next month.
An open-air cinema will be held on September 7 at 8pm on Batchelors Field, The Street, Bolney.
The film is Bugsy Malone, for all the family.
The village’s community cafe will be open for refreshments and there will be a bar, ice creams and popcorn.
Tickets are £5 adults, £4 children under 16, or a family ticket £15.
The tickets are for sale at the Pavilion Cafe, the Eight Bells pub, the Post office and Sussex Crafts in Cuckfield. No tickets will be available on the night.
The stars of the children s gangster film were Jodie Foster and Bob Hoskins and it proved a box office hit on its release.
The concept of open-air cinemas started in the USA, where drive-in movies were especially popular in the 1950s and 1960s.
