The Hawth Crawley has announced that Vines of Gatwick BMW is the official sponsor of its Classical Concert Series for 2013.

The car retailer is sponsoring the ever popular season of classical music and the theatre is thrilled to have the company’s support.

Dave Watmore, General Manager of The Hawth said “It’s wonderful to have the support of such a well, regarded local business and to know they are passionate and supportive of the arts in Crawley.”

Speaking about the sponsorship deal, Giles Gair, Vines of Gatwick Dealer Principal said “We are very pleased to sponsor The Hawth’s emotionally charged Classical Season for 2013. Vines of Gatwick BMW look forward to supporting The Hawth as a local business and engaging further with our local community.”

As always The Hawth’s Classical Concert Series for 2013 offers a wonderful selection of concerts and recitals, performed by some of the most respected classical musicians in the world. The first Royal Philharmonic Orchestra concert of the new year takes place at the theatre on Saturday 2 February at 7.30pm with an astoundingly mature performance from BBC Young Musican of the Year 2012 Laura van der Heijden playing the music of Dvořák, plus the compositions of Smetana and Mendelssohn rounding off what is sure to be a wonderful evening.

This season of first class music continues throughout the year with the award-winning Brodowski String Quartet (March 9) and a welcome return for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on Saturday 6 April with a Tchaikovsky Gala performed by renowned violinist Tamsin Waley-Cohen.
