Leading food writer Prue Leith will be speaking about her new biography in a number of West Sussex libraries this and next month.
The cookery expert-turned-novelist, who recently appeared on the BBC’s Great British Menu series, will also be signing copies at the Horsham, Chichester and Crawley branches.
The 72-year-old, born in South Africa, made her name writing about food for the Guardian and Sunday Express newspapers before releasing the best-seller: Leith’s Cookery Bible.
She has also published a number of romantic novels.
Prue will be talking about her biography: Relish, My life on a plate, in Horsham Library at 7pm on Wednesday, October 17, before appearing in Chichester at 7:30pm on Tuesday, October 30.
She will then visit Crawley Library a month later on Tuesday, November 27, at 7pm.
Lionel Barnard, West Sussex County Council deputy leader responsible for the library service, said: “We are very excited to welcome one of the country’s most popular cooking writers in our branches.
“This is a great opportunity for budding chefs and novelists to pick up a number of top tips.
