THE NATIONAL Trust is hosting three live concerts in the beautiful grounds of Petworth Park this summer.

Headlining the concerts on Friday July 11 will be Diana Ross. The international star will be crossing the Atlantic this summer for an exclusive five date tour, with Petworth being the only outdoor concert she performs in the UK.

With a career s
panning over 40 years, Diana Ross has received every imaginable accolade and award and still delivers an intimate and engaging performance that reaches out to every concert goer, reinforcing her reputation as a true superstar.

The concert will take place in an outdoor concert arena. There will be a 'Golden Circle' with tickets on sale for premium viewing, for which numbers are strictly limited.

The following evening, on Saturday July 12, audiences can enjoy the magical 'Proms at Petworth Park'.

The evening will feature a programme of popular classical music, played by the London Gala Orchestra under the baton of conductor Hilary Davan Wetton, with the voice of the renowned mezzo soprano Juliette Pochin, as guest soloist.

Just announced for this concert, newly launched tenor soloist Jonathan Ansell, formerly of G4, also takes to the stage, hot on the success of his first solo album 'Tenor At The Movies'.

As night falls a spectacular finale of choreographed lasers and fireworks will light up the sky.

And finally, to conclude this feast of musical talent, on Sunday July 13, reggae legends UB40 will deliver their own unique brand of music including hits such as 'Red Red Wine', 'Rat In The Kitchen', 'I Can't Help Falling In Love With You' and many more.

During each concert a wide range of catering and bars will be available, offering quality food and drink for purchase, within the concert area.
