AFTER six years and £570,000, the Needles estate's much improved community centre in Horsham is re-opening.

Crowds turned up to see the centre's official opening on Tuesday, with ten, 13, and 82 year old residents cutting the ribbon.

Major redesign and renovation work has been carried out at the Youth Centre, RAF Association Club, Band Hall and St Peter's Hall, with funds from Horsham District Council (HDC) and West Sussex County Council (WSCC).
