Body painting for charity
A SEDGWICK breast cancer patient is pioneering a new daring project to raise £100,000 for the charity that saved her life.
In a new twist on Calendar Girls, 12 naked models are being decorated with body paint and photographed to create a new calendar in aid of Cancer Research UK.
The theme is Good Things In Life and it is hoped the tasteful images aimed at showing 'life after cancer' will also be used on greeting cards, jigsaw puzzles, and bags.
The project is the brainchild of cancer patient Esther Clark, 48, who was diagnosed with breast cancer just over a year ago.
Brave model Kim Tanner, 49, works for Everton Football Club and for her page was painted in the design of a new lingerie top donated for the project by Marks & Spencer.
Mrs Clark is still looking for more sponsors as some calendar pages are still available.
