THE FIRST Relay For Life event at Broadbridge Heath generated more than £21,000 for a cancer charity.
Organisers were delighted with the results which saw people compete in a gruelling 24-hour race at the weekend.
And they are even planning to stage a bigger repeat performance of the successful event next year.
