Bees under threat

DEADLY mites, along with cold springs in recent years, have decimated Britain's bee population, which the government has estimated contributes £156m each year to the economy in its contribution to pollinating crops.
Reporter Alex Christie-Miller visited the apiary of the Central Sussex Beekeeping Association at Cottesmore School, near Pease Pottage to find out more.
