Sussex crush Derbyshire in style

DAY THREE was a formality really as Sussex steadily took the eight wickets they required to complete an innings victory.
Monty Panesar (67-4) and Corey Collymore (50-4) were the pick of the Sussex bowlers, with four wickets each. The match was effectively won on day two when Sussex racked up 576-3 declared - the first time the top four batsman had scored a century in their history.
73rd over: Wicket. And that's the game as Yasir Arafat knocks over Mark Footitt's leg stump with the Derbyshire man retreating towards square leg.

70th over: Wicket. Monty needs just one more for a five fer, thanks to Andy Hodd's stumping of Steffan Jones, who had aimed a few lusty blows towards the tennis courts in this over.
69th over: 200 up. Steve Adshead brings up the Derbyshire 200 with a well timed hook off Yasir Arafat.
64th over: Wicket. Jonathan Clare becomes another Monty victim after a big leg before shout. The end is nigh.
56th over: Wicket. Monty continues from the Church End, and traps Greg Smith lbw one short of his half century.
53rd over: Wicket. Robin Peterson perishes to a flying Murray Goodwin catch as he tucks Corey Collymore off his legs uppishly.
It's just a matter of time now.
47th over and lunch: Wicket. Monty Panesar has been twirling away without much luck, but find the edge of Dan Redfern's bat with the final ball before lunch.
31st over: Wicket. Luke Wright comes into the attack and traps Wes Durston leg before with the first ball of his first over.
26th over: Wicket. The first wicket of the day falls. Wayne Madsen, who had played some sumptuous drives this morning, is caught at short leg by Ben Brown off Corey Collymore.
11am: Play gets underway, Corey Collymore with the first over of the day
Derbyshire resume on 27-2 after a record breaking day in which the top four Sussex batsmen scored centuries on the way to 576-3 declared.
Corey Collymore took two wickets last night and Derbyshire need to score 307 more runs to make the home side bat again.
