Billy Twelvetrees is in contention to return to the England starting line up for the second Test against New Zealand.

The Gloucester centre - who’s family home is in Pulborough - missed Saturday’s agonising 20-15 defeat, but having recovered from an ankle problem he could be among a number of expected changes.

Former Christ’s Hospital School pupil Joe Lanchbury and Joe Marler from Sussex were both part of the England side which impressed at Eden Park despite missing a number of key players.

Stuart Lancaster’s side pushed New Zealand all the way before the world champions showed their class with a last-gasp winning try.

The performance has given England real hope in the three-test series, especially with a number of players set to return this weekend.

One option being considered is moving Manu Tuilagi out to the wing to accommodate the returning Twelvetrees and Luther Burrell.
