Horsham RFC back to winning ways but Pulborough drop into bottom two

After five straight league defeats Horsham RFC 1st team returned to winning ways with a comfortable 24-0 victory over Vigo at Coolhurst.

Horsham ran in three tries, through Jamie Gibbs, Rob Grantham-Hill and Chris Squires, and a penalty try ensured they picked up a bonus point to complete a good afternoon’s work in cold and wet conditions.

Against the bottom side the Green and Whites should have won more comfortably, though coach Nick Stocker was just glad to end their winless run which stretched back to the start of November.

Elsewhere Pulborough lost 27-24 away at Park House, a result which saw the hosts leapfrog them to leave Boro in the bottom two.
