HOLBROOK RUFC booked a Sussex Vase final place against Hastings & Bexhill on Sunday with an emphatic 27-10 win against Seaford.
Tries from Darren Shadbolt (2), Chris Collier and Ben Wells sealed the win which books their berth in the final at Horsham on Sunday March 18.
Delighted captain Mark Devlin said: “The conditions were very poor and they got an early try. But we responded really well and played some excellent rugby.
“Our forwards were excellent and we made sure we kept pressuring them and dominating the front line.
“We know how good we can be and it’s just a case of making sure we do it for a whole game. We scored some excellent tries and deserved to win.”
Seaford started the better in adverse conditions and went ahead thanks to an early try.
But Holbrook responded brilliantly scoring 22 unanswered points to give themselves a comfortable lead at the break.
Seaford searched for a response in the second half, but Holbrook continued to dominate, despite a late try from their opponents.
“It’s great to have reached the final and we’re confident we can beat Hastings,” Devlin added.
