Strong showing from Horsham Joggers as Sussex Grand Prix nears climax

Neil Boniface led a large Horsham Joggers contingent home in the penultimate race of this year’s Sussex Grand Prix, the Brooks Brighton 10k, with a fine run of 32m 58s.

Among a high quality field, Joggers impressed as the series reaches its climax. Tony Johnson made a strong return from a recent injury to finish in 40m47s. Ali Gormley led the club’s ladies home in an excellent 43m00s. Further back in the field, Karen Brazier just missed the 50 minute barrier by just one second.

Meanwhile, in Horsham Park, club members gave their support to the St. Catherines Hospice Santa Run in Horsham Park, all suitably attired for the occasion. The club’s current “Learn to Run” Group were amonst those who turned out for this event in aid of one of the club’s favourite local charities.
