Shrubb race to take place this Sunday

The rearranged Alfred Shrubb memorial Five Mile Race is set to be held on Sunday (October 21).

Organiser Cliff Comber was forced to cancel the original date of October 7 after heavy rainfall left parts of the cross country course around Slinfold under water.

The third edition of the race will now go ahead without some of the leading original entrants, so prizes are up for grabs. Enter at www.sussexraces.co.uk.
