Roffey S&SC B have opened up a three point lead at the top of Division 1 of the Horsham & District Darts League after an 8-1 thrashing of Kings Arms, Billingshurst.

Jake Jones was in prime form as he hit two 180s and Cliff Prior checked out from 118 for the Roffey side.

The Railway are second and are the only other unbeaten team in the league following their visit to The Windmill.

Steve Adsett led the way for the visitors, with a maximum, as they came away with a 6-3 win.

The top two meet at Roffey S&SC this week. Cat & Canary v BBHeath VC A was postponed.

Division two leaders Roffey S&SC C went to second placed Rising Sun and in a tight game came away with a 5-4 win.

Roffey CC benefited from Rising Sun’s slip as they moved up to second by beating basement side Rising Sun Alliance 7-2.

Kings Arms, Horsham enjoyed a fine win, 5-4 over HFC@The Norfolk, helped by Gareth Griffiths’ 105 outshot, which was bettered by Justin Parker’s 144 , the highest checkout of the season so far.

Roffey S&SC A lost their third consecutive game 5-4 this time to Horsham S&CC.
