Atlantis swimmer Rebecca Barber

Rebecca Barker made a splash with four gold medals as Atlantis SC took more than 40 swimmers to the Littlehampton Open Meet.

The nine-year-old’s haul included the 50 breaststroke, freestyle, butterfly and individual medley, plus a bronze in the 50m backstroke.

Overall, the team won 11 golds, ten silvers and 12 bronzes, as 37 county qualyfing times were set.

Also on the podium for the Horsham club were Rose Stride, 12, (200m freestyle gold); Maddie Carey, 11, (50m and 200m freestyle and 50m butterfly; and Ethyl Whyman, nine, (50m backstroke).
