Horsham HC told to improve
Horsham's Steph Dent scored on Saturday
Horsham Hockey Club have been told to up ytheir game ahead of this weekend’s meeting with EHL East Conference leaders Harleston Magpies.
A 9-0 defeat of Chichester Priory in the Sussex Cup did not completely satisfy coach Paul Johnson, who is looking for an improvement in tomorrow’s league meeting in Norfolk.
He said: “We brought a few of the younger players up from the seconds and a few from the third. Although we won 9-0 it was not a great performance.
“The girls were reasonably professional and did what they were expected to do.
“It’s important we get our standard back up for this weekend, this is probably our toughest match of the season.”
