The top two in Division 1 of the Horsham Darts League both recorded 8-1 wins on the road during the latest round of fixtures.

Leaders Roffey S&SC B beat BBHeath VC, with 180s for both Tony Peters and Adam Hart, while skipper Andy Mason recorded the highest checkout of the season to date, with a 150 out shot.

Second placed Railway kept in touch though, by mirroring that result with an 8-1 win at Cat & Canary.

In Division 2, second placed Kings Arms, Horsham lost ground after losing 5-4 at Roffey Cricket Club.

Meanwhile leaders, Roffey S&SC C took advantage of the Kings Arms’ slip to open up a 14 point lead after a 7-2 win at bottom side Rising Sun Alliance - Peter Wickersham’s maximum was among the highlights.

The weeks best result saw Roffey S&SC A record a 9-0 whitewash of HFC@The Norfolk.

Elsewhere, Rising Sun beat Horsham S&CC 5-4 a win which kept them just within touching distance of the promotion places.
