Cat & Canary’s Lee Burlton was the star of the week in the Horsham & District Darts League, with a 12-dart leg in his side’s 8-1 defeat to Division 1 leaders Roffey S&SC B. He threw 140-140-180-41, but his teammates had no answer to a Roffey side boosted by Dan Waller’s 101 outshot and a Terry Thornton maximum.

Ian Homewood, Mick Short and Steve Adsett threw 180s and John Dawes checked-out from 100 in Railway’s 7-2 defeat of Kings Arms, Billingshurst, which keeps them second. Division 2 leaders Roffey S&SC C were inspired by Kevin Bethell’s 114 outshot in an 8-1 drubbing of Horsham C&SC. Club mates Roffey S&SC A helped by beating second placed Roffey CC 5-4. Kings Arms, Horsham returned to winning ways, inflicting a 7-2 defeat on Rising Sun. Meanwhile, Rising Sun Alliance finally got their first win helped by Phil Oliver’s second 180 of the season, beating HFC@The Norfolk 5-4.
