Pupils at Tanbridge House School were today treated to a visit from one of sport’s most prestigious trophies, the Ryder Cup.
Professional Golfers Association chairman Phil Weaver OBE brought the Cup, won by Europe in dramatic fashion at Medinah, to the school this afternoon to help inspire the next generation of sports stars.
Pupil Elliott Webster, 15: “I loved it, I’m a very keen golfer I love the game.
“It’s the biggest event in the world. It’s great to see, even though it looks bigger on television.”
