Simon Colbran felt his Horsham side thoroughly deserved their 3-1 win over league leaders Walton Casuals on Tuesday night.

The Hornets manager said the performance matched that of Saturday, when two sendings off and a harsh looking penalty played a big part in a cup defeat at Hastings United, a game they lead 2-0.

Last night’s victory - curtesy of two first half headers from Gabby Odunaike and Jamie Cade and a second half Tony Nwachukwu penalty - lifted Horsham up to 14th in the Ryman South table, a ‘false position’ according to Colbran, who is predicting a big November for his side.
