Top sports stars will join England wicketkeeper Matt Prior’s charity golf day at Mannings Heath.

Prior will be joined by Sussex CCC teammates including Chris Nash, Ed Joyce, Joe Gatting and Murray Goodwin competing over the picturesque 6, 683 yard Waterfall Course, for the event which forms part of his benefit year, next Tuesday.

More than 80 golfers will compete in the one day stableford event which is expected to raise considerable funds for Matt’s two chosen charities, Chestnut Tree House and the Professional Cricket Association Benevolent Fund.

Matt recently commented: “I am really looking forward to the event at Mannings Heath, I have played the course many times and it is a great venue for this important charity event and we are hoping to raise lots of money for both charities.”
